Every year, thousands of Hindus around the world celebrate Holi, the Festival of Colors, to mark the beginning of spring. Although it is the least religious holiday, it is probably one of the most exhilarating ones in existence. The celebration of Holi begins with public bonfires and gatherings under a full moon. It continues with the wearing and throwing of coloured powders and liquids.
