Communication design now has human element, but at a cost.
When computers, laptops, and cell phones first were introduced, nobody paid much attention to how they were designed. Comfort, ergonomics, or even ease of use were ignored, even frowned upon. Now, a few billion smartphones later, we see a whole industry of designers trying to match technology (especially communications) to the human condition. Even asking the question; “Should we even have these? Are they bringing us together or making us more separate?” The video is a little long, but the photography beautiful and the debate profound.
